recreational opportunities. You'll also find a wide
selection of lodging, with hotels, motels, resorts, bed
and breakfasts (B&Bs), cabins, camping and campgrounds nearby. Choose from half-day or full-day
packages or overnight and multi-day whitewater rafting adventures. Whitewater

companies generally provide transportation from their base
camp to the rivers and back.

West Virginia whitewater rafting guides and outfitters in the
development of quality travel information regarding raft
trips, float trips, family vacations, and rafting packages
for people considering family vacations or adventure
vacations in West Virginia.
"Specifically, "says
editor David T. Sibray, "We'd like your advice in
expanding our examination of whitewater rapids (Class I, II, III, IV,
V, VI), and West Virginia whitewater rafting rivers,
including the New River and New River Gorge, the Gauley
River, Cheat River, Big Sandy, Potomac River, and Tygart
River.
"Features we're also
considering for early autumn include duckies, Gauley
season, gauley fest, cheat fest," Sibray said.
